从事科研情况:
爱尔兰籍华人赵亚乾教授在英国和爱尔兰有22年的水污染控制教学科研经历,是人工湿地污水处理技术领域的国际型学者,与欧洲众多的大学和学者有着较密切的联系和友谊。
目前,赵亚乾教授是西安理工大学全教授。甘肃省“飞天学者”讲座教授,爱尔兰工程师协会(IEI)常务理事、国际水协会会士(FIWA),人工湿地和污泥处理专家委员会委员、Water Science & Technology等9个国际期刊副主编或编委,49种国际期刊特邀审稿人,是“全爱中国环境资源能源协会”(www.icaere.ie)发起人和首任会长。赵亚乾教授曾获英国苏格兰思特拉斯克莱德大学(University of Strathclyde)博士,英国女王大学(Queen's University Belfast)博士后。2004-2018年任爱尔兰都柏林大学(University College Dublin)土木工程系终生教职,2007起任水环境实验室主任 2011-2014年系副主任。2019年1月辞职全职回国服务,加盟西安理工大学。
赵亚乾教授主要从事人工湿地污水生态处理、河流生态恢复,污水脱氮除磷、污泥调节、脱水及回用等方面的研究。发表各类英文论文437篇,SCI收录235篇。国际水协会会刊(Water 21),英国土木工程师协会会刊(ICE),爱尔兰工程师协会会刊(IEI)及爱尔兰主流报纸(The Irish Times)先后多次报道了其团队的研究成果。其在爱尔兰的研究团队成员来自中国、爱尔兰、埃及、美国、法国、印度、波兰、马来西亚和尼日利亚的研究生。赵教授曾受英国剑桥大学、爱丁堡大学、英国Cranfield大学、西班牙UPC大学、法国法国阿尔比-加莫国立高等矿业大学(Ecole des Mines-Albi),香港科技大学,台湾科技大学以及国内80多所大学等的邀请进行学术讲座。2011年起,赵亚乾教授联合国际上知名的人工湿地污水处理专家在国内举办人工湿地污水处理高级国际研修班, 至2018年已办了8期,为中国培训了近2000名人工湿地技术人员,该研修班也被誉为人工湿地的“黄埔军校”。
赵亚乾教授由于其在人工湿地污水处理技术的创新研究,于2016年10月在澳大利亚布里斯班举行的IWA世界水大会上当选国际水协会(IWA)会士(Fellow)。2017年3月13日CCTV4“华人世界”栏目报导了赵亚乾教授及其团队的人工湿地研发工作。
